I like the background the most toO! I swear I have those brushes! I don't know where they are from but I love them they are perfect for backgrounds.
I love the yellowish red color in this I just made a wallpaper with like the same colors.
OH it has a sort of lattice pattern going on in the background I like it and the virtical slashes are a nice touch!!
I like the little swirle too. I think though the text could also fit somewhat in the middle of the wallie with quote marks on it.

Well, I kinda extracted her, kinda just erased around her. It was a mix...but I used the pen tool for the extracting as best as I could. I agree...the hair is the hardest part. ;__; Cause of all the strands!! It's so much more difficult to extract and clean up scans of LIVE people than anime characters.

Hahaa, it's ok. :) I would think...that LOTS of people would say the same. :/ It's so much harder walling real people because it's harder to find quality photos/scans of people, and you can't really use the same cleaning techniques (vectoring/painting) with them as anime characters because...uh, it just wouldn't look the same. XD So yes!
