Same here, lol, I have all my icons in neat rows as well. But mine are on the right side.
Sometimes I have some icons on the left side as well, those are things I urgently have to work on. XD

lol, I'm anal that way though, All my icons always are in neat rows on the left side of the screen XD kind of creepy, though if it does depend on my background, I'll move them if say the main focus of the image is on the left or something.
