Anyhoo, jessie-whore-chan-poo. Wow. I was really surprised to see a wallpaper from you! Especially anime-related. XD Miku? Really? Lol! Cool. Your wall is so different from the original scan! O__o I totally wasn't expecting the scan to be so colorful and peppy. XD Cause your wall is so dark! It's really cool this way. I think some of the edges around her are a bit rough though. Random red lines probably left over from the original? A good trick to fix that is to use the burn tool. Set it to multiply the highlights (it's usually on midtones) at something over 60%. (even 100) Then go around the edges that may be white left over from the original scan or some other color that pops out. Then it will make them black, causing the rough edges to look more like an outline that it should be!

I'm gonna join in on this convo. So Paintshop is like photoshop? Other than the lasso tools, do you have a pen tool? Cause I don't know how your program works, but in Photoshop you can use the pen tool to go around the edges, then select it and delete. It's similar to the lasso but kinda easier to handle with a mouse (at least I think so). So you've been painting around with white all this time? Goodness!! How rough. D:
i'm guessing that's like the magnetic lasso tool. xD idk, I use my mouse to extract parts of the image. ^^; It's just more flexible for me. One of my friends hates it but I love it. Good luck w/ it. ^_^

thank you!! I use the polygonal lasso tool on photoshop. I don't know if paintshop has it. There's several tutorials online on how to use the lasso tool to extract. It's kinda slow but there's more control. I hope that helped. :D
