I think it's wonderful too! I love the colours, and the colours fit well with the season which is approaching. Haha, you're getting me in the autumn mood. X3
The text in the wallpaper gives a intellectual look to it, it fits well with the royalty. And so does the texture.
I don't agree about the glowing spheres though, I like them because it gives a magical touch to it. But I do have to agree about the emptiness on the left side.

Really pretty~~ Maybe just a little too empty on the left side, but it works for having lots of desktop icons! ^_^ I love the colors, and I think the duplicating worked out fine. I agree she's like royalty so your title fits. :) Very clear and elegant, and I love the textures, too. Although maybe fewer of those glowing spheres? If it's possible, I would LOVE it if you could send me a version without them (if you have the file saved and that's easy, if not, that's totally ok). Great job overall!! ^__^
