Yeah, that's right^^ I came to Brasil some time ago and, when I studied spanish then at school, I was able to see that those languages are kinda differents!!! >_< But we can understand both, yes!^^
Half-portuguese? How lucky, I'm just half-french and the other part is, well, french but from Guyane, lol >_<

LOL I'm half-portuguese, so I have listened to them both simultaneously. XD Spanish is VERY similar...but there are differences in many respects too. ;D BUT if you know one, you can pretty much understand the other. XD
