haha i wouldnt get mad. there are many ways to do things, depending on what software you use. there are also many shortcuts that have been made available in order for you to do something "simple" like this. so its not bad. Complexity does not gurantee if something will be good or bad. though many of the super great wallpapers on here do take an hour or more but still i think it is not just a matter of time but of creavity and much more. :3

i definitely think this is acceptable. :D but its normal to not to be quite sure of your work. =) dont worry though youll definitely improve. Photoshop is an amazing program. (T___T i really want it. D:) Once you get the hang of it and you start using brushes and textures youll see a different way of doing wallpapers.

its good to apply things you learn. you get practice and in the future you'll find yourself applying these techniques to your future works. In the future I bet youll be using 3+ techniques on a single wallpaper. =D

when you want to do a link you have to first write the word that youll want to represent the link. For example for your galaxy picture you can use the word "Galaxy Image". You then highlight the word and Click the link button (it looks like an Earth). A little yellow window bar will appear that will say "This website is using a scripted window to ask you for information.....". Right Click on this yellow bar and click "Temporarily allo Scripted Windows". Once again highlight your word and click on the globe again.

Then you will enter the url of the picture or link. :) and thats it.

But.. would you get mad if I tell that it's just a simple work? I mean, I use my "little knowledge" in photoshop. Did you see my links in this wallpaper? I hope you noticed it, cause that's where I got this.. Uhmmm.. In Photoshop, I use only the blending and that is "overlay". Yes! That's the only thing I did in this wallpaper.. I made this within 10 minutes if I'm not mistaken.. Thanks for that "galaxy I found in google.
