I like the light colors, but I do think there should be a tad more contrast.
Great character choice, my favorite <3 and awesome use of textures.

I figured not all death note wallpapers had to be super black and emo, so I went with a lighter theme. :]

I agree..The wallpaper is very light for death note..But its still amazing..Keep up the good work

WOW this is very light & pretty, most Death Note walls are dark - I like it, good job! ^_^
