Hm, I think they used renders. Like HERE. They filled the BG with color and started editing the pic with brushes...I guess..

I once edit other people's art...lol, lucky I didn't submit the wallpaper thou...and the artist happen to be an artist in theOtaku...^^;

Well personally you are doing better than me. I think I may have been mixing originals with some Pictures that are other peoples art. So I need to work on some of my own. lol
