Uhm.. I'm new at making these walls too, maybe you can ask someone more experienced than me XD
But I'll tell you how I made this wall.
First, you have to find a good scan for your wallpaper, if you want to combine it with other pic, that would be good, and looks pro but it'll waste your time cause combining images needs a lot of time. After that, just play with brushes or textures. I usually visit brushking.eu to download brushes and deviantart for the textures :D
