Oh my, I'm so sorry for the late reply, I usually reply all to my replies but I don't know how I missed this one, I think it may be because you didn't comment as a reply to mine so it didn't show up in my comments thing... oh well it's okay. You know I got the pm to notify me you had subbed me, so when I was looking at your profile I saw this wallie in your wallpapers category and I was just thinking I've seen this wallie before, so when I clicked on it and saw i had hugged and commented it i was like 'oh yeah I remember!' lol
You know telling you the truth, looking back at the comments I said, I think I sort of disagree with what I had said, I really like this wallie... the colours... I really like the colours and I totally understand why you were trying not to add to much text and keep the image true :) So well done on that! ^^

No not at all - thank you for the critique. I really appreciate it.
Basically I wanted to keep it as true to the movie as possible, without adding all my own stuff to it. I personally like wallpapers that aren't too loud and that don't overtake the screen.
So I figure people who prefer really minimalist backgrounds (or are hardcore Eva fans) may like this one.

oh i see...well good job with the pic! i quite like it..but (if you dont mind me saying) its a little too plain, dont you think? or maybe the word is bland...idk but i think there's something missing... i hope you dont mind me saying that
I didn't do anything with the shades on this one. I did a bit of softening with a brush, but that's about it. So it's pretty much the raw image that you seen in the film.

nice wallie and i have to agree, i dont like wallpapers with too much writing on them either...it looks to full dont you think?
i really like the shades in this, so i was gonna ask did you do anything to the actual image? (sorry havent seent the series "^^)
