Ah, I can see what you're saying now, some of the detail on the top of her head did get lost a little there. I can probably darken that area and hopefully reduce some of the blur. It's probably from one of the color layers that's on lighten and is doing something funky to her head XD Haha, and polite and calm is the only way to go~ I'm not going to blow up at you because you noticed something I didn't~ ;D Thanks a bunch, I'll go fix it as soon as I can.

[Edit] Aaand fixed~ The perpetrator was indeed a color layer that was doing something weird. An update and a layer mask later and it should be fixed, let me know what you think~

I was referring to her bangs area, mostly, the blur you used looks like Smart Blur. I've seen it around in wallpapers that the creators want to "disguise" as vectors (not saying you did, just stating the context), since it's a relatively quick way to make a scan look simplified/of better quality; unfortunately, this usually backfires and makes the image look blocky instead - again, only her face area looks like this, the rest of the scan (curtains, dress etc.) looks alright. I thought you used that filter, hence my comment, thank you for being polite and calm about discussing this :]

Wow, you really did a wonderful job making this scan come to life. I love the colors and I especially love the soft look overall. The contrast and blues and oranges is fabulous and adds depth to the wind passing through her long beautiful hair. This radiates innocence and sunshine, even magic. Your words fit perfectly, for the wallpaper, and a tribute to CLAMP.

Not quite sure where you're seeing the blur, there's only a 0.3 Gaussian blur on the lowest layer to soften the image since the original scan was very rough, maybe I'm just misunderstanding your description. I'm extremely interested in constructive feedback since no one ever leaves any, so if you could explain in a different way/more detail in another comment or PM, I'd really appreciate it~ ;D

I think what I like most about this are the colors, you did a good job of enhancing them. The text in the background makes for a pretty good subtle detail, too. However, I think you overdid it with the blurring, one thing that looks good about CLAMP scans are the textures and I think you should have kept that look. Overall, it's a good wallpaper, just slightly overfiltered ^_~ Good luck in the challenge, by the way!
