The coloures for the background? I just use coloures that would associate with them, their weapons, and there looks. Like for Larxene, she is mostly yellow, coz she has yellow hair, and controls lightning. but also, from her kunais, there are a bit of purple, greens, and blues, so I try to put a bit of everything
