Wooow, I never thought of that. You know, I free downloaded it and TA-DA! I always use it without thinking.
You're so... I don't know what's the word, but it's a good one, a positive word. XD
I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls <3
That's true, it is always nice to support in that way.^^
Well of course that it is good, especially since it is free. By my account it is the best free image manipulation program out there and trust me there are tons of them. It was developed by GNU software which are famous for their multytask operating system in the "Unix-like" group. Many programers and developers prefer that free operating system much more even over the priced ones like Windows or Mac OS.
Exactly! lol But who knows when I'll end college for good. Let's say i will be able to buy it soon! I don't really mind the price, to be honest, since it's a software I use everyday, I think it's worth it. We'll see :)
I was more used to how Photoshop works to be comfortable with GIMP, actually, even though the tools are basically the same. I didn't use it enough to notice troubles with pictures, details and everything. But, well, for a free software, I think they did a great job. Not perfect yet but still. Anyway, good luck! ;)
It is quite expensive if you want to buy the full software depending on the package. But I am sure that you will be able to get it sooner or later, after all that "sooner or later" will apply to you getting a job after you finish college. ;D
Yeah, I understand. Not sure about Photoshop, but the main problem with me in GIMP is that if it is not completely detailed sometimes if an image is of a more quality (having many shadows and highlights) it actually goes on them rather than outer lines.
Well, I do what I can to help^^' I know I gave up on GIMP after two days because I was used to Photoshop already lol Can't wait to have the money to finally buy the software and not having to download it *sobs*
Anyway, it doesn't say anything about a separate click. But that pen tool on GIMP is honestly used the same way as we do on Photoshop. Quality work requires some time. *nods and sobs*
Haha, well I don't know, sorry if I make you so. xD
Aw, thanks.^^ But I do know where to find it and download all versions I want (after all, you remember my profession?), but that's the reason why I can't. Photoshop is an expensive program and downloading it in that way is illegal. GIMP is free. That doesn't mean that I don't download some other things that I shouldn't, but I do try to do it as less as possible every time when I have a free alternate version.
Ah thanks for all the help Felcie, but I already know what is meant here. Pretty much I just need to be more detailed as you can see this person used that... Now that I think about it, does it there say anything other about separate clicking? i don't know would that work, but it would definitely help if there was something to reduce time and not just to go around and click every time I want to get it selected.
Your welcome, and thanks. Seriously, do I have to say "thank you" every time I talk to you?? LOL! XD
Oh, so you don't use photoshop? Why don't you try to download it? I never use GIMP so I don't know about how the tools work. If you want to download it, I can give you the link. But it's CS5 and it will take quite a lot of space.
I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls <3
Because I mostly use the eraser, playing with its size and stuff^^ Oh, but I found a GIMP tutorial for rendering. Unfortunately it's in French but there are screencaps so... [click me] If you need translation on some part, tell me.
-.-' LoL, of course that would be an eraser tool there. There is on on the first version of Paint even. XD
But thanks though. I always do use eraser, but I guess I should even try to be more detailed with it.^^
I suggest the same as Blue Latte. Or else, use the eraser tool, it will take time but the result will be cleaner. I'm pretty sure you have an eraser tool on GIMP, right? Sorry, I'm not familiar with that software^^'
Thanks.^^ It reminded me a little on your ones, knowing how well you also know to combine images in a great wallpaper. :)
Ah, I would use that tool, but it is a photoshop tool, not a GIMP one. And since I am using GIMP I have to go select it manually step by step and the erase all incorrections. Although GIMP also has a similar tool to that pen tool, it is not as good and most of the time it gets things even harder.
I think the rain brushes work very well here ^^ it certainly looks like a stormy sky. Very pretty ^^ I enjoy seeing your wallpapers and watching you try new things.
I should get on and make some myself... It has been a while haha.
Very beautiful wallpaper. The pictures, they fit perfectly. But next time you want to extract an image, try to use pen tool. It will make neater extraction. :)

It's a really awesome job Fykki-kun!
It seems you're just improving with your wallies with every one you make. I like the two images and how you blended it together in a lovely wallie :3
