Laxus is one of my favorite characters in the whole series! Honestly on a personal level he's the one I relate to the most. Seeing his backstory and why he acted the way he acted I totally felt for him and understood him. Plus he always has headphones with him, just like me. XD
Oh my gosh right now I know what you mean. When I first started the series I was like he was a total jerk, but Laxus for sure grew on me. I know what happened for the most part for the Grand Magic Games but I haven't seen it/read it. However, I am absolutely in love with him!!! He grew so much on me because he really is a great development of a character in an anime! Plus he's handsome and powerful! :D
I definitely like this character. I like how the creator developed him from a brat that thought he could do whatever he wanted to all in the name of making the guild better to realizing what truly made it great: the friendships and bonds between all of the members, regardless of their strength or magic level. But I also like how he didn't suddenly become a great leader overnite. He had to get banished by the guild master and live by himself for awhile in order for everything to sink in. I admit seeing Laxus in the tournament especially when he put the beatdown on his dad made my day ^^b
