Im self taught and I use Paint.Net because Im too cheap to buy Photoshop - so I have no doubt that our vector processes are different :)
Im also quite the workaholic so I can only spare a few hours each evening to actually sit down and vector, so my pieces can take anywhere from 1 week to 1 month for the really complicated ones.

Lol, yeah vectoring is boring, but if I start to vector, idk I just have to complete it in a day or at most two, and that's really crazy, cus my eyes are suffering a lot. xD

I do it all on my laptop while watching anime/movies on the tv; if I just watch tv or just vector its incredibly boring! Doing both at once appears to be the magic trick :3 Also not living with my parents/siblings is a great help! Ha ha!
