I generally go looking through anime scans of whatever I'm watching at the time, or if someone specifically requests a certain anime/character. As for what image I choose - I like finding images that are terribly bad quality or covered in writing and something that hasn't been made into a million wallpapers already. I like the challenge of turning a bad quality scan into a nice wallpaper, but I also know my own limits of what I can/can't vector.

I think this looks pretty nice ^^ And it does look like she has a lot of details so it must have taken a while.
Maybe a strange question but how do you decide if you're going to vector an image or just use it as is for a wallpaper? Do you just prefer the look of vectors or?
