Actually, yes, this IS in fact Sesshomaru's mother. She first appears in volume 47 at the end of chapter 466 in the manga. You can look it up on wikipeadia.com. She seems funny and sweet. Even though I've never read the manga chapter myself, lol. She's vary beautiful though. Now I can see were Sesshomaru get's his looks ^.~

actually, inusdemoness, this appears to be rumiko takahashi's original manga work. only she can determine what sesshoumaru's mother looks like. unless you're rumiko takahashi for some odd reason, don't judge so quickly with this type of thing.

I think people get the wrong idea when they see things like this. They believe that this is actually what a character we've never seen looks like. But we've never seen Sess' mom so this must a be a fanart because there are no images of her shown in the series or manga yet, not even in the movies either to my knowledge.
