Title: A Great Loss Series: Midori No Hibi Character: Seiji Details: This image of Seiji on the bench came from Volume 2 of the manga is such an emotional scene that I couldn't help but attempt a wallpaper for it. I wanted this one to appear darker than it actually does in the manga. So I cut out the flashbacks of Midori and just left Seiji there alone on the bench. I added the darker thunderclouds to the background and used the blowing leaves to show a bleaker landscape around him. Then I altered the lighting of the piece and added a sienna tinge to add the impression of even more sadness. I think it turned out quite well in the end and just seeing it brings back so many memories for me. Credits: Original Scan from Volume 2 of the manga.
