Title: Blade of Fire Series: Blade of the Immortal Character: Manji Details: This manga series is actually one of my absolute favorites and Manji is of course the main reason behind it. I couldn't resist using this scan when I decided to created a wallpaper for this series since it showed one of his unique swords so perfectly and yet left you with the feel that this man truly was a samurai even with using a katana. I wanted this image to have a definite painting feel to it so I used several different filters and textures to increase that feeling. I also set about altering the coloring of the fire and cleaning up the faults in the original scan. The image had been scanned was actually a bit damaged so it was rather fun to find ways to fix those original errors without losing the integrity of the piece. Credits: Scan from AnimePaper
