Title: Where the wild roses grow (inspired from Kylie Minogue and Nick Cave's song "Where the wild roses grow")
I loved this image of Princess Tutu from the first moment I saw it. I vectored her and the cage, but I had a different idea for the theme. When I made this wallpaper I hadn't seen the anime, but now I have and I see that my idea resembles some facts from it, like the fact that Tutu was trapped at one point (you can say she was trapped in some kind of cage, though not a cage in its meaning).
I submitted this for a vector wallpaper contest on Minitokyo, and the theme I got was "Loneliness and isolation". I tried to illustrate it as best as I can -Tutu is a trapped against her will, but once she is free she still misses her captivity (in my interpretation). Now that I look at it, it would've fit Rue/Kraehe better...
