I used paint program to design the wallpaper. I first selected promotional images from the several chapters of the "Space Battleship Yamato" (Star Blazers) multiseries that were released in 1974-1983 (known as the franchise's classic series/movie years). Then I designed a yellow border to hold those images. For each of the animescans, I used text tool to type not only the storydate of the "Yamato" chapter the scan indicates, but also the chapter's title as well (the 2nd image has two titles written because each is for a different telling of the 2nd chapter's storyplot). Keep in mind that the titles are in order of original Japanese release and in order of story continuity. Also, I used line tool to draw a black borderframe around the scan of the multiseries' original Japanese version logo that I selected for this wallpaper and then used text tool to write on top of the logo, the english translation to it, which reads "Space Battleship Yamato". I believe all fans of "Space Battleship Yamato" (and by extension, anime/manga of Leiji Matsumoto) and retro anime alike will love this wallpaper. Enjoy!
