In making this wallpaper in paint program, I used line tool to outline the rectangular borders to hold the animescans (or [parts of them) I chose to use for this piece, then used the fill-with-color tool to color the borders with dark blue. I then inserted the scans themselves on those borders (looking at the borders, they should remind you of film/photograph strips). Also, I used text tool to wrtie the separate parts of the message shown in this wallpaper and colored the rest of the wallpaper with red, using the fill-with-color tool.
