Meet the main cast of one of the greatest Japanese Animated Superhero T.V. series of the 1970s, "Science Ninja Team Gatchaman". In case you're not familiar with the show, it was used long ago to make for the U.S. audiences, "Battle of the Planets" and later "G-Force: Guardians of Space". Left (top to bottom): Professor Kozaburou Nambu, Ken Washio (Gatchaman/G-1), Kentaro Washio (Red Impulse Leader), Berg Katse. Right (top to bottom): George "Joe" Asakura (G-2), Jun (G-3), Jinpei (G-4), Ryu Nakanishi (G-5). Note that the character names mentioned are only of the original Japanese edition of the series.

In making this wallpaper in paint program, I lined up 4 screenshots from the classic anime vertically on each side, and used line tool to outline vertical rectangular borders around them. I used the fill-with-color tool to color the borders with black in order to create a filmstrip effect. I placed the anime's Japanese version logo at the center of the wallpaper and used line tool to draw around its edges.

For all fans of "Gatchaman" and anime classics alike to enjoy! If you haven't seen "Gatchaman" before, you should watch it on Anime Network (that is if you have it on your T.V.), on youtube, or on DVD. It's an anime epic worth watching despite how old the show is.
