Song illustration #12: Touka Gettan - You spin me around (by Dead or Alive)
Another Touka Gettan wallie And so soon! I've been working on this one for a loong time and have been eager to finish it so I can remove it from my list!
It was originally very colorful and 'disco' but I settled for a more desaturated look. I began working on it during a 'very colorful' phase when I made only very colorful stuff, but now I'm past it so I don't have good ideas for such a wallpaper. I hope you like it as it is :)
Touka is a guy!! I bet I shocked some of you there XD But it's true, I was shocked when I found out too, I thought it was Momoka in this scan, not him!
Anyway, it's all about vectoring and patterns here. I vectored this scan and added different patterns to different layers, from here. This place is a gold mine! What I like most about this wall are Touka's eyes. I discovered it isn't that difficult to vector Carnelian eyes (frankly, that was my only fear when vectoring something of hers, that I wouldn't get the eyes right - which is very important, since the eyes are very important in her artwork). Oh, and the grunge patterns from the background and his skin are from Desktop Anime.
