I don't know what's wrong with me these days, I keep making and submitting wallpapers! O_O I've recently started reading +Anima and it's really cute, I love it! That's why I looked through the Minitokyo gallery and saw very few items related to it. One of those items was this scan of Husky - oddly enough, why is a merman's name 'Husky'? o_O" Yet another great mystery of life.
After opening the image in PS, I had to options: resize it and add textures or extend the background and add textures. I chose the second option because the scan was too beautiful to cut. It doesn't really look as I planned, but I kind of like the cloud-water effect. Adding textures and gradients, I found a really lovely yellow-red-green pastel gradient and applied it. At that moment I thought "wow, those colors look absolutely delicious!" I toned them down a bit with a blue gradient (you know how I'm a fan of desaturated walls - when I don't go on a killer colorful wallie spree, that is!) Those bubbly things were on the original scan too, so I added some on the extended part to keep things balanced.
I still don't know if it's right to submit it here, I don't know if anyone will like it. I made this mainly for myself, as I wanted to have a simple wall which focuses on the background - and I think a cluttered background would've made the scan look downright ugly >_> A big thank you to everyone who commented on my previous walls (especially you, Kelsey, I always look forward to your feedback ^^), for the support and love you have for my wallies!
