Ron said she was fraternizing with the enemy. Pansy was floored someone like Krum would bring someone like Hermione. Nobody supported them.

But they did not care.

Hermione had a fairytale night with her Quidditch star, and she loved it. Ron eventually drove her to tears, but ultimately she did not leave Viktor. She felt what she felt and made no apologies for it.

Personally I approve of Ron and Hermione when all is said and done. However, I am glad she was with Viktor. It was a great relationship for them both. Viktor is a good man. So what does all this mean? It means that I really love Hermione with Viktor - while it lasted. But in the end.. ultimately.. I believe she belongs with Ron Weasley. But in the meantime.. this relationship was very good for her.
