Kamina could (or should) be considered one of the most gallant characters ever made in an anime. He strived to aim for high hopes and achieved them even though he wasn't there physically. The reason why the wallpaper is called "Ashita no Kamina" is because it may be similart to how Joe of Ashita no Jo (Tomorrow's Joe) died.
