In my search for sport-themed manga, I've come across a lot of baseball, quite a bit of basketball, but only one to my memory about figure skating (remember my memory tends to falter). Ice Revolution is a new manga by Takemura Youhei about a mannish girl named Masaki who is a champion-level karate practitioner, but wants to become a figure skater after a chance encounter one afternoon. I believe it runs in SQ magazine, which would make it monthly. There's only two chapters so far, so even though you don't need to do much to catch up, tons of judgment has to be reserved. I'm figuring this to be an above-average series so far. Let's see how long it'll take for me to change my mind.rnrnEDIT: Best viewed in full screen! ^__^'
