Part two of three in my Detroit Sports collection. You don't have to take it as strictly Detroit, but just know it was inspired by them.

This one is for the most mediocre of the three, by far, the Detroit Lions of the National Football League. Put under the Curse of Bobby Layne, who declared in 1958 that the team would not win for fifty years, we've been doing dreadful. The current season is our worst yet, 0-15 and the final game looking like a loss. Those of us who are left can only hope that next year, the first full one after the lifting of the curse, we might actually be worth something.
