Satoshi takes out his Totodile and uses it to catch up to the boat. On board, Kasumi is crying because of what she left behind. She then hears a voice. Was it Satoshi? she thought. She opens the door to see no one there. She signs and heads toward the deck. Kasumi watches the waves as she sails home, when she suddenly notices Satoshi in the water coming after the boat. Kasumi is startled and throws him a life preserver and reals him in. Satoshi apologizes for what had happened and how stupid he was and admits that he loves her. Kasumi is happy and is moved to tears. The two kiss. Love will always find a way.
