A friend of mine linked me over to a manga called Oyasumi Punpun, which follows the life of the main character Punpun as he goes from grade to middle to high school. While the rest of the artwork is really freaking amazing, Punpun and his family are drawn as bird...penguin...things.

Also, it's an 18+ manga because there's some, ahem, naughty things, so don't go off reading it unless you're prepared for that. It's the kind of series that would never be licensed here in the US due to it's juxtaposition of topic and content.

Regardless, this is hands down one of my favorite pictures ever and thusly my favorite in the entirety of the manga. The kids are coming home from their adventure of courage and just...wow. This picture just blew my mind. So I colored it! And it's my first time doing something like this, and I'm rather pleased with how it came out.
