I fell in love with the fanart on dA, it's so touching, just gorgeous and it emphasizes Sougo's child heart very well.
I'll explain the perspective a little. Sougo's sister is actually lying on the bed in the bg, but I chose to close-up their interaction at the moment.
I didn't completely erase the original text on the image, so I just rearranged it a bit. The shiny texture and effects are to enhance the moment of Mitsuba's death.
