I FINALLY HAVE IT DONE!!!!
I started this wallpaper all the way back in November on the side of Variance's contest, Imitators, although the real work for it started in December. That was when the full-blown idea was set. I started by playing with textures and creating a painted parchment look. Then I closed in on Lys' clothes. I love those textures, and changing the color of the top was a wonderful thought off the top of my head. I practiced coloring here, especially on Siva and the demon. I love how the white hair came out. The rose petals took a long time to find and were the last touches. All in all, I've learned a LOT from making this wallpaper and sticking to it till the end. I am very proud of it!
The widescreen is the original and the best! Please comment.
Description of Hanatsuki Hime manga:
This is a peak into the manga Hanatsuki Hime. It is about a young dancer with the heart of a demon; however, it doesn't last forever. When she turns sixteen, the demon will take his heart back and eat her. Hanatsuki, the demon's mark, brings a lot of dangers on her journey, but with her friend Siva nearby, she continues with a smile. Someone also watches from the shadows...
It's a wonderful mang and short. So go read it!
