Honestly I've very pleased [and more than a little surprised] with how this wallpaper turned out. Originally, I'd only been playing around with a background - seeing what I could do. Then I added this image to it and it actually looked kind of good - if a little too green. So, I redid the background and put a bit more time into picking out the right colors and brushes [also making sure I layered them properly] and this turned out surprisingly well I think. I actually had planed on using a 'real' background [like the one on my Moribito wallpaper 'Before the Frost'] but I'm not very interested in those background - I feel that they never look quite right.

I really do like the way this turned out. The kanji says 'peace'.
