Well, here's my entry for the Emotional Days challenge. By a weird coincidence I found this picture of Mew Ichigo in tears on zerochan not long before I read about this challenge. It was kind of a challenge to make, as the original background was just all black, so I had a tough time removing it. It involved some delicate erasing in Photoshop. After I got rid of it though, I had a hard time figuring out what to do with the image. I didn't want to change it to a black and white image, mostly because the only other contestant in this challenge so far has done that already. Then I got the idea to reduce the color saturation to make the colors look duller, and it worked. Coming up with a new background was also a challenge. I decided to keep things simple though. I figured that if I tried doing any other effects, it would ruin the mood of the wallpaper. The title of this wallpaper refers to the emotional climax of Tokyo Mew Mew when Mew Ichigo finds out that her major love interest is the leader of the aliens who're trying to kill the human race and take Earth for themselves.
