Won't you come with me? 
I chose Egypt because it's a place I've always wanted to visit and I love the culture there. Besides, it's the middle of winter where I live and - well - all that sand sounds particularly nice. Once I chose and place and an image, it was time to pick a character. So I started thinking about the anime shows I've seen and this one just popped out at me. Putting Sakura on it was a no brainer, I just had to find the proper image.
In the end I wanted it to look a bit like an old-fashioned photograph. Don't know if it worked, but I really like how it turned out.
