Random Fact: I like cats.
So here's my entry for the Masterpiece challenge. I spent a few hours on this one. You know the thing about creating a masterpiece is that you can't try and make one on purpose, at least not in my opinion. Because for me if I try making something that would be considered a masterpiece on purpose I end up trying too hard and it ends up being a flop. So for me all I can do is just make the best work I can. If it's a hit, it's a hit. If it's not a hit, then oh well. The thing abut a masterpiece is that it's a matter of perspective.
So for my entry for this challenge, I decided to do a Full Metal Panic wallpaper, for no other reason other than I recently started watching that anime. So far I like it. Anyway, first I toyed with the scan itself for a bit. I messed with the brightness and saturation, and also masked the blood so that it would be more pronounced. After that I went out and found a couple of rain textures to add to the dramatic and depressing feel of the image. Then I added text and that was it. I'm actually not very confident about this wallpaper winning the challenge, mostly because the last few wallpapers I've made haven't been real popular. But if it doesn't do well I can still enter two more times. Enjoy.
