I have been wanting to do a wallpaper in this style for quite a while, and I finally thought of making one of Charden. Well, it would have been way to difficult to get a good quality image of him by himself, so I went ahead and decided to add Kyoko (second favorite character, only after Charden) to the wallie. I believe it actually turned out better this way than it would have otherwise. At least it gave me a theme to work with.

I would like to say that this doesn't need to be seen as if I'm suggesting that they'd be a good couple (though I'm not exactly saying that I don't think they would). I just happen to love their relationship as it was in the anime: two people with vastly different personalities actually being friends and effective partners. And, well, because they are my to favorite characters from Black Cat, that's the main reason I wanted to make a wallpaper of them.

Anyway, while I was hunting around for a name, I thought of their abilities. Blood and Fire. (Kind of difficult to explain if you've not met them.) So, not only did that become the name of this wallie, it became part of the writing on this wallpaper.

I really like the way this turned out and, especially for an experiment, I'm quite pleased with it.
