Darkarax (character): "Who hath summoned me?"

So I was invited to participate in this User Pride challenge (which seems to be really taking off by the way), and coming up with an entry was not easy. Because our dear vampire host did not realize that there's a face that goes with this username, and that face is the unique four-eyed monster that serves as my avatar here on TheO. You see Darkarax is a character, an OC if you will, that I came up with many years ago, a powerful dark lord of sorts. And when it came time to come up with a username when I joined this site, I ended up using the Darkarax character as my alter ego. But, I was invited to this challenge, so here we go.

The first thing I decided to do was redesign the Darkarax character (which I've done many times in the past). I decided to go with an Egyptian theme this time. Then I scanned the drawing in, colorized it, and then added the background elements and textures. I'm not sure if this wallpaper turned out quite the way I wanted it to, but I'll see how it does. And if it doesn't do very well I may come up with another entry. At the very least I've used this wallpaper to update the look of my avatar. Enjoy.
