I've been working on this on and off for about *checks* holy crap, two years! Since May 2011, to be precise. It was supposed to be a rainy scene, just so I could practice painting rain, so the rough sketch looked like this. But once I tried adding some snow it looked too lovely to pass up, so this ended up as the final version. I had a lot of fun with the shading, and I can't shake the feeling that he's lying on a field of rice, not snow ._. *is hungry*
