Okay, I chose Lucy/Kaede/Nyuu from Elfen Lied.
I hope this counts as an alter ego. Whenever "Nyuu" is hit in the head, she returns to her "Lucy/Kaede" form. Nyuu is dim-witted, slow and cannot really speak. Whereas Lucy is violent, smart and holds grudges.
Lucy holds a grudge against mankind due to them being abusive to her. She is a Diclonius. (sp?)
I used Photoshop CS5 to make this wallpaper.
