Hello!
This was made for KyraChan's Something Different contest.
Since the point of the contest is to make a wallpaper a different way than usual I decided I want to do the opposite of what I normally do! So a quick glance at my portfolio and its obvious I love coloring manga scans… It took me awhile to figure out what the reverse of that would be… Ah! Lets take a color scan and reduce it to its lines in black and white!

So I took this picture that has almost no hards lines and flipped it.
I'm not gonna lie, I'm not good at drawing and I do think that hurt the redraw of the scan… I basically traced where the face was. The hair was harder and took more… creative line drawing lol Then I took a soft paint brush and added the shading back to the image.
I don't know if I'd make another wallpaper with this style… Again my drawing skills….. are poor lol Maybe I'll try redoing it in a few years to see if my skills have improved!
