For number 56, Fast, of the 100 Wallpaper Challenge.
When I saw the category "Fast", I knew I had to use Redline, even though I've never seen it. The only problem is, there isn't really any good renders of Redline. I spend a while trying to find some way to make a wallpaper of Redline without just throwing some sort of filter over a single scan. Then it hit me - why not use different layers of opacity of a scan in order to make a sort of gradient from one scan into the other? And so thus became this wallpaper. I really like it. I've never done something like this before.
