So I just moved into my new (shared) apartment for college, and honestly it seems like all my roommates have good friends up here, whereas... I don't. All my friends are doing their own thing.

Still, despite being hundreds of miles apart, we're still trying to find ways to hang out and get together. It amazes me how close we still are, and it reminds me all the things we've done and gone through together to bring us so close. All those years together in marching band, as well as activities of our own...

Honestly, that's why I love Haikyuu!! so much. No other anime has reminded me so much of all the emotions felt during marching band, on and off the field. It just seems to hit all the right notes to get me to completely relate to it. And the song just adds to it - I've always associated this song with all the emotions felt when I'm with or remembering my friend group.

Hence this wallpaper.
