Well to be honest I had started this wallpaper a week ago and I just got around to finally finishing the other night. This project was definitely a challenge, especially with extracting and rendering Mika, Yuu, and Guren from their respective scan. One good thing I can say is there are plenty of good Owari no Seraph scans to work with and this was one of them.

I recently watched the whole first season of RWBY and I just loved the theme song. So I ended up titling the wallpaper after the song. Also today I used lyrics from the main chorus in the wallpaper because I felt that the theme of the song fit Owari no Seraph as a whole. There's also a couple other songs from RWBY that also illustrate the events of Owari no Seraph as well.

But this song best illustrated these three characters and their objects and goals as a whole. Guren's ambition for wanting victory for being the best, Yuu's desire to find and reunite with his "brother" Mika, and Mika wanting to also reunite with Yuu and "save" him from the "disgusting humans." I just feel like the lyrics spoke to me and also helped tell the story behind this wallpaper accurately. Usually I'm not partial to text in wallpapers but this one was one of the rare exceptions.

The wallpaper as a whole took me a week and two days to complete. The week being me procrastinating finishing it and rendering them from the difficult scan and fixing the mistakes I made when I extracted them initially. I think I broke the paint and smudge tools repairing the parts I accidentally erased or parts that got left out. I'm pretty proud of it as a whole.
