Hey guys! This is my entry for misachan83's Muse of Music challenge, and my second-ever wallie on TheO (barring some cruddy MS Paint messes I uploaded on my old account).

The song that inspired this was Gimme Sympathy by Metric, a band that is criminally under appreciated, in my opinion. The song is about how life is what you make of it, and it's okay if you screw up as long as you get up and keep going, and the tone of it just kind of made me think of Fairy Tail and Team Natsu. The album this is from, Fantasies, has a sort of glowy synth sound to it, and I tried to capture that in my wallie.

Images used: X X X I layered the texture and figures over the background in Photoshop CS6. The lettering and light streak effects were done in Picmonkey, and I punched up the contrast while I was at it (the font I used is a Picmonkey font called Bleeding Cowboy, if anyone was wondering). Then I opened it up in Photoshop again and added a film grain filter (I might have added a warming filter too, but I can't remember).
