Submission for the Your First Anime challenge!

Lets see now... I do believe its been a solid 10 years since I first wondered into the anime world. And I can still remember the first few series I start on too: Cowboy Bebop, Hellsing, Trigun, Fruits Basket and xxxHolic.
So you ask for one of my first animes those are what I had to choose from, which is a pretty damn good selection in my opinion ;) - I chose Hellsing because Ive done a few Bebop wallies during my time on TheO.

Started with a very different scan of Alucard but that just fell apart so I wound up using this one instead. I love this image of Alucard, but it always annoyed my that the original image was done with a blue pallet instead of red... its freaking Alucard! You dont use a blue pallet with the most powerful vampire! Seriously who did that?! Well I decided to change it, I love having that kind of power ^_^
The hardest part was the gun because that thing is godamn impossible to vector, ended up having to leave it as is... which annoys the hell out of me, but hey even I have my limits.

Anyway, still had heaps of fun with it ^_^

The texture I used is from an old site called Celestial Star was has since been taken down, damn shame I loved that site.
