Never really made a summer themed wallpaper so I figured I give it a try. Found this scan from Macross Delta, was a good one so I made a wallpaper with it.

Tried some new things here such as reversing a texture to better suit an image, blending another texture to get a slightly different color effect, used some shiny to enhance it, kind of blurred certain areas to kind of give it a whimsicalish effect. Basically tried to make it look like one of those photos of a summer gone by. Hopefully I succeeded.

I hope everybody enjoys what I did here. Dedicated to ClockworkKitten because this wallpaper kind of inspired me...
