My entry for the "Memories" challenge :)

So I ended up choosing to do this wallpaper because one of my best memories is of truly falling in love for the first time. It was a real turning point in my life, and I honestly don't know where I'd be if it never happened. I met my husband my chance one afternoon in an office, and believe it or not, after he first left, he came back and waited over an hour for me to come out so that he could meet me again. We kept talking and meeting after that, and things just went from there. It's been over ten years since then, and I still remember it like it was yesterday

I ended up choosing Simon and Nia because a) I've read about their relationship and it's beautiful and b) some of the images of them together fit the feeling of true love so well. I wanted to try and convey that feeling in this wallpaper, and hopefully I've managed to do it. On the technical side, it took me about an hour and a half to complete it (considering I had the idea in my head). I did a lot of color manipulation, and played with the sparkle effect until I felt it fit right.

Either way, I had a lot of fun doing this and figuring out what I wanted to do for this challenge. I'm glad that I was able to participate and share my wonderful memory :)
