i don't think i ever responded to your questions. i'm sorry. i'm glad you want to join. posting weekly is okay, as long as you make sure to document throughout the week your projects. and if you would rather sketch than use the different mediums, that's fine.

I shall join you on this journey! lol. Hmm, let's see. I've really wanted to do something like this so I'll think I'll draw all Bleach characters. There's so many of them I'm sure it'll take me a year. I'll see if I can do chibis or like their faces on notecards.

i think it would be interesting to do everything in a sketchpad. you could use the dirt, cardboard, etc. in the sketchbook. or you could do a drawing to make it look like it's made out of those materials. if you do do it in a sketchbook you could upload it on your portfolio, but it would be cool if we all had a world devoted to this project. if you don't want to make a world for this, you can guest post in mine if you want. and you could upload at the end of the week, all 7 of your projects if you can be certain that you will do all seven. and as for your subject, if you look in my intro i have what the author of the book recommends you consider when you choose your subject.

I'm debating on whether I should join. What if I miss a day? Can I just get a sketch pad instead of working with a bunch of different mediums? Do I post in my Portfolio or a World? Do I have to post every day or can I post seven at the end of a week? Also, I have no clue what to chose as a theme.

there is a prompt for each day, on what materials to work with (dirt, cardboard, only green stuff, stuff from a recycle bin). if you choose a subject (like i am choosing cats), it makes it easier to think of something to do with the prompt. if you wanted you could choose 1 medium and make, for example, 365 painting.

it depends on what you choose for your subject. i choose cats, but Luna from sailor moon is a cat, so i could do her. and alphonse13 has chosen to do a character from Naruto each day with the prompt, so that is defiantly fanart.

You just basically do an art a day, about anything? No need for themes?
